Why Ride2Work Day?

Ride2Work Day is the best opportunity to try out riding to work as the cold winter ends, setting you up to enjoy months of fine weather riding ahead.

Whether you're a complete beginner curious about bike commuting or a seasoned cyclist who rides every day, this event is for you. It's a chance to celebrate active transport, connect with like-minded people, and enjoy some well-deserved freebies!

Why Bike to Work?

Riding to work is a very time effective way to get some mild exercise into your day. Be it on a bicycle or e-bike, 2km or 10km, a couple of days a week commuting by bike will improve your mood and energy!

The benefits of cycling to work extend far beyond the personal. Every person who chooses to ride instead of drive helps:

  • Reduce traffic congestion
  • Lower carbon emissions
  • Improve air quality
  • Create safer, quieter streets
  • Build a healthier, more connected community

Spread the Word

Know someone who's been thinking about riding to work? Invite them along! The more, the merrier. Share this event with colleagues, friends, and neighbours. Together, we can create streets that people love.
