BIKE RAVE: Saturday 30th August [UPDATED]

UPDATE: This was scheduled for 23rd August but was pushed back a week due to weather. The equipment planned to be used won't cope with rain!

Some legends (not us) are putting together a bike rave!

Join us in pedalling and grooving the winter blues away 🚲

Meeting at 3pm for crazy bikes, food and games. DJ sets start at 4pm followed by a mobile sound system bike rave through the city and back, stopping at various spots for DJ sets and dancing.

We welcome cyclists, non-cyclists, dancers, ratbags, families, children and anyone who thinks cities are for people and fun!

NO BIKE NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE!

Safety and Risk

The cycle route will be posted here closer to the date.

This event will be suitable for anyone with beginner level experience riding in traffic. Marshals will be there to assist with safety entering and navigating the streets.

Organisers cannot assume responsibility for participants - but everyone is here to help keep each other safe. We don’t need a permit to ride bikes on the streets - or to enjoy our public parks and spaces.
