Community BBQ a Resounding Success!

Yesterday’s community BBQ was a celebration of community spirit, with an incredible turnout and glorious sunshine lighting up the day. Families, friends, and neighbours came together to enjoy great food, lively conversation, and a shared vision for a more vibrant Hobart.

We were thrilled to welcome special guests, including:

Their presence, alongside an enthusiastic crowd of attendees, reflected the growing momentum behind the Streets People Love – Hobart campaign.

The BBQ was filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful discussions about how we can create a city with vibrant pedestrian spaces, connected bike lanes, lush street trees, better public transport, and thriving outdoor areas.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the event a success—from cooking and setting up to bringing your positive energy. It’s events like these that strengthen our community and remind us of what’s possible when we come together.
