Our streets need you!
Your vote is needed at the public meeting attempting to remove bike lanes. Tuesday 25th March. Get your ticket, attend and vote.

A public meeting about the Collins Street improvement trial will be held on Tuesday 25 March at 5.30pm at City Hall, 57-63 Macquarie St. (location updated)
We need you to go to that public meeting!
The meeting is ticketed due to venue capacity.
If enough supporters of the trial attend, we can vote down an expensive, non-binding elector poll and any other motions that threaten active transport options and safer, vibrant streets.
Opponents of the trial have already cost ratepayers $170,000 in state government funding. This public meeting is likely to cost another $10,000 and an elector poll could cost another $150,000.
Please spread the word to other Hobart residents, workers and businesses who support the trial and don’t want Hobart City residents rates spent on a costly elector poll.
You can also make a submission to the meeting, these must be accepted before 21 March. Submissions can be anything on the topic (e.g. why you and the future of the city will benefit from separated bike lanes.) and will be made available to attendees to consider when voting on motions.
